Placements24 is seeking a Global Logistics Director to lead international supply chain operations from a remote setting. You will design and drive a worldwide logistics strategy, oversee carriers, warehousing, and customs, and partner with a global team to enable scalable growth.

The role requires 10+ years of executive-level logistics experience, a track record of optimizing complex networks, and strong remote leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in global logistics or supply chain management.
• Proven track record managing complex international supply chains.
• Experience leading remote, distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global logistics strategy aligned with growth objectives.
• Oversee international transportation, warehousing, and distribution across regions.
• Ensure compliance with international trade, customs, and import/export rules.
• Manage and mentor distributed logistics managers and coordinators.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with global carriers and 3PLs.
• Drive cost reduction, service improvements, and process optimizations.
• Lead technology initiatives to optimize global logistics operations.
