Job summary

CAI is seeking an experienced Events Manager to oversee event planning and vendor management across worldwide exhibitions. This role is a 6-12 month contract with remote work, averaging about 28 hours per week initially.

You will handle about 10 trade events annually, coordinating logistics, contracts, and on-site leadership, collaborating with marketing and sales to drive attendance and ROI.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as an Event Manager.
• Deep knowledge in area of accountability and related functions.
• Ability to work onsite and manage event logistics.
• Experience handling international trade events.
• Familiarity with event management software and registration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop objectives and strategies for events to maximize exposure and generate leads.
• Manage contracts and secure vendors for exhibition booths.
• Plan logistics for approximately 10 trade events per year worldwide.
• Coordinate event activities with the business team to promote attendance and track performance.
• Partner with marketing, sales, and product colleagues to provide materials.
• Provide onsite leadership to ensure events run smoothly.
• Follow up with attendees to ensure success and ROI.
• Design exhibition hall layouts and manage attendee tracking and scheduling.
• Coordinate facility, exhibit set-up, catering requirements.
• Research potential event locations and evaluate alternatives.
