Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Global Commodity Manager for Electronics Distribution. This remote US role reports to the Director of Global Commodity Management and owns the sourcing strategy for distribution channels, including price/value determination and contract negotiations.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in commodity management with a strong background in semiconductors and related components, and demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional negotiations and supplier performance programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business preferred.
• 7+ years of related experience (EMS industry preferred).
• Knowledge of supplier development, strategic sourcing and commodity management.
• Commodity management experience in Semiconductors, Interconnect, Electromechanical & Passive components and/or distribution sourcing.
• Knowledge of customer contracts and contractual obligations as they relate to supply chain requirements and liabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to lead complex negotiations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the sourcing strategy within the distribution channel for assigned suppliers/commodities/segments.
• Lead price/value determination, negotiations of contracts, and terms and conditions.
• Implement Supply Chain Flexibility programs and risk mitigation strategies; manage supplier performance and awards.
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Lead and manage quarterly global electronics distribution negotiations and forecasting.
