Job summary

Celestica’s Global Commodity Management team is seeking a Global Commodity Manager (Electronics Distribution) to own the sourcing strategy for distributors in the Americas. You will lead price and contract negotiations, drive supplier development, and manage supplier performance and risk.

The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and travel up to 25%. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in engineering, supply chain or business and 7+ years of relevant EMS/industry experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business.
• 7+ years of related experience (EMS industry preferred).
• Knowledge of supplier development, strategic sourcing and commodity management.
• Experience with semiconductors, interconnect, electromechanical and/or distribution sourcing.
• Ability to lead complex negotiations and communicate across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the sourcing strategy for distributors within the distribution channel.
• Lead price/value determination, product/service negotiations, and contract terms.
• Implement supply chain flexibility programs and risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead quarterly global Electronics Distribution negotiations and forecasting.
• Collaborate with sites and senior management on supplier performance and reviews.
