Job summary

Moog is seeking a Group EHS Director for the Military Aircraft Group. This role is the strategic partner to MAG leadership, shaping the EHS strategy and ensuring compliance across worldwide sites.

You will lead the delivery of EHS programs, drive performance metrics, and foster growth of EHS professionals within MAG. You will oversee governance of EHS across locations, coordinate with Global EHS, and guide incident investigations while aligning with corporate policy and business priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Environmental Science or Safety; other science/engineering backgrounds considered.
• Professional certifications: CHMM, SMS, and/or CSP are preferred.
• 7+ years in a manufacturing environment with hazard evaluation/elimination, EHS training, audits, and lean EHS programs.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own MAG EHS compliance across all sites and ensure standard systems and processes are followed.
• Develop and manage EHS KPIs for sustained program performance.
• Provide guidance on capital projects, violations, consent orders, divestitures and incident investigations.
• Monitor environmental matters and report to Global EHS Director and Finance quarterly.
• Build an engaged global EHS community and mentor EHS professionals across MAG.
