Job summary

Moog Inc. seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Director for the Military Aircraft Group (MAG). You will lead the EHS strategy, governance, and global programs across MAG locations, aligning with corporate policies and business priorities.

The role requires broad EHS expertise, global oversight, and leadership of a distributed team. As MAG's senior EHS leader, you will drive performance, implement continuous improvement, and report on EHS metrics to executives.

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental Science or Safety and a professional certification (CHMM, SMS and/or CSP).
• At least seven years in a similar manufacturing setting with hazard evaluation, training, audits and lean EHS programs.
• Five or more years of people leadership experience.
• Demonstrated capabilities in behavior-based EHS management, Six Sigma, and incident investigations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own MAG EHS compliance and global systems across sites.
• Develop and manage EHS KPIs for sustained program execution.
• Provide technical review on capital projects, notices of violations, divestitures and investigations.
• Monitor environmental matters with SEC-related reporting to leadership and finance.
• Build EHS talent with career development plans and cross-site capability.
