Job summary

BlackSky is seeking a driven business development professional to join our international team in Europe. The role reports to the General Manager, EMEA. Strong preference is for candidates located in the UK, but applications from other European countries are welcome.

This is a remote position with up to 50% travel anticipated. You will lead sales strategy and negotiations for new product solutions, coordinate with government agencies and commercial customers, and drive growth with systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
• At least ten years of experience selling to international defense and intelligence customers.
• Full-cycle direct business development experience with a concentration in technical/government sales.
• Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.
• Ability to deliver top quality presentations.

Responsibilities

• Set sales strategy, tactics, proposals, and negotiations for new product solutions.
• Lead sales capture efforts for advanced programs and new technical solutions.
• Drive penetration strategies with government agencies and prime contractors.
• Provide quarterly and monthly forecasts to management.
• Grow market presence and recruit talent for the territory.
• Maintain sales volume, product mix, and pricing with market trends.
