Job summary

Chainlink Labs is seeking an experienced Compensation Lead to own the broad-based compensation engine across offers, promotions, cycles, market pricing, and salary structures. This hands-on role blends strategy, analytics, and execution.

You will partner with People Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and HRIS to evolve compensation from execution to recommendation-led, leveraging AI and modern tooling to scale analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of broad-based compensation experience within a fast-paced, global organization; 10+ years for senior level.
• Proven experience owning compensation programs across offers, promotions, cycles, market pricing, and salary structures.
• Strong benchmarking and market-pricing expertise with major surveys and datasets.
• Advanced Google Sheets or Excel modelling; working with structured data is valued.
• Ability to translate complex compensation questions into clear options and recommendations.
• Experience advising senior leaders on compensation decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Builder mindset with interest in using data, automation, and AI to improve compensation work.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution and evolution of broad-based compensation programs, including offers, promotions, cycles, market pricing, and salary structures.
• Lead global initiatives across pay equity, job architecture, workforce planning, and design of compensation programs.
• Build compensation models, dashboards, and analyses to inform business and People decisions.
• Lead benchmarking, survey participation, job matching, market pricing, and pay competitiveness analysis.
• Review complex offers and escalations across levels, functions, and global markets with clear recommendations.
• Partner with People Tech on migration to Pave and development of compensation data infrastructure.
• Design clear, accessible compensation views and resources for managers and teams.
• Advise People Partners and leaders on compensation strategy, programs, and decisions.
• Translate complex data into concise executive-ready recommendations.
• Use AI and modern tooling to improve speed, quality, and scalability of analysis and reporting.
