You will collaborate with client teams to define a scalable migration strategy and build an automated path. The role requires scripting skills (Python/Bash), experience with CI/CD, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Strong experience migrating repos to GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise Server, GitLab, and Bitbucket migrations.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash and CI/CD familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Migrate repositories to GitHub Enterprise Cloud from GHES, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
• Gather requirements with client engineers and leadership.
• Build and document a migration path with tooling and automation.
• Plan and execute migration waves with project management.
• Analyze GHES configurations and repo metadata for accurate migration.
• Troubleshoot migration issues (files, network, permissions).
• Develop scripts and GitHub Actions workflows to accelerate migrations.
