Job summary

Atmosera is seeking a skilled engineer to drive GitHub Enterprise Cloud migration projects. This contractor role involves migrating repositories from GitHub Enterprise Server, BitBucket, or GitLab to GitHub Enterprise Cloud.

Work closely with client engineering teams to define a scalable migration strategy. You will build automation tools and GitHub Actions workflows, diagnose issues with large repos, and support migration waves with clear updates and documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with GitHub Enterprise Cloud, GitLab, GitHub Enterprise Server, and BitBucket.
• Experience in planning and executing source control migrations—scope, mapping, history, permissions.
• Scripting in Python or Bash for automation.

Responsibilities

• Migrate repositories to GitHub Enterprise Cloud from GitHub Enterprise Server, BitBucket, or GitLab.
• Interface with client engineers and leadership to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Create and document a migration path, tooling, and automation.
