Job summary

Wiser Imagery Services is seeking a Junior Geospatial Technician for remote, entry-level work. The role involves collecting, maintaining, analyzing, and interpreting geographic information with training provided on software, GIS, and source materials.

Responsibilities include production tasks such as feature data and cartographic work, using imagery and datasets, while meeting client specifications. Work is performed remotely, Monday–Friday, with a strong emphasis on timely, accurate outputs.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen.
• Solid understanding of ArcGIS or GIS software (ArcMap/ArcPro).
• Workspace suitable for remote work.
• Must supply own equipment: laptop/PC, 2 monitors, keyboard, mouse, high speed internet.
• Ability to self-lead using customer guidance.
• Ability to meet production deadlines with minimal errors.
• Ability to communicate with a diverse team of people.

Responsibilities

• Performs production efforts including feature data, terrain, or cartographic work.
• Includes extraction, adjustment, or representation to meet client specifications.
• Use imagery (satellite, aerial), rasters, vectors, and tabular data to complete work.
• Follow project-specific guidance and communicate problems as they arise.
• Be punctual to all schedules and complete tasks timely and efficiently.
• Adhere to company policies and protocols.
