Job summary

95West, a Widseth company, is seeking an Imagery Technician to help transform aerial imagery into mapping products for infrastructure, land development, and transportation projects across the United States. You will work with geospatial services, land surveying, and engineering teams to gain hands-on experience with photogrammetry and LiDAR technologies.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and eager to learn.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Geography, Cartography, GIS, Computer Programming, Graphic Design, Mathematics, Statistics, CADD, Surveying, or related geospatial field.
Professional experience in imagery or photogrammetric technician role.
Technology-focused background and/or aerial sensor operation experience.
Experience with CAD platforms like MicroStation, Civil 3D, or similar.
Knowledge of photogrammetric processes such as Aero-Triangulation, Stereo Compilation, and Digital Orthophoto production.

Responsibilities

Process aerial imagery and perform quality control reviews.
Create and refine orthophotography and support photogrammetric workflows.
Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure imagery accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support project delivery and client needs.
Follow established workflows and contribute to process improvements.
Manage project tasks to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Communicate effectively with team members for successful project outcomes.
