Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a GIS/Geospatial Expert for a remote contracting role. You will analyze GIS workflows, apply Python and AI coding agents, and help document geospatial processes to support AI system improvements.

Responsibilities include analyzing GIS challenges, documenting workflows, and evaluating AI-generated geospatial solutions while collaborating with remote teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in GIS, remote sensing, spatial analytics, or related geospatial fields.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding agents for geospatial projects.
• Proficiency in Python and geospatial technologies.
• Experience with debugging or end-to-end feature development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to clearly document technical workflows for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating with remote or multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert analysis and feedback on GIS and geospatial challenges.
• Document technical workflows using Python and AI coding agents.
• Apply tools such as Codex, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and Claude Science to real-world technical tasks.
• Evaluate AI-generated solutions for complex geospatial problems, debugging, and code development.
• Document problem-solving approaches, workflows, and technical outcomes.
• Contribute to datasets and evaluation frameworks for AI training and benchmarking.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to refine documentation and project requirements.
