Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a GIS / Geospatial Expert for a remote contractor role. You will bring hands-on GIS, remote sensing, and spatial analytics expertise to evaluate real‑world geospatial workflows and help improve next‑generation AI systems.

You will document workflows in Python using AI coding agents, apply Codex and Claude tools, and collaborate with technical stakeholders to refine requirements and datasets for AI training and benchmarking.

Qualifications

Strong experience in GIS, remote sensing, or spatial analytics.
Hands-on use of AI coding agents for geospatial tasks.
Proficiency with Python and geospatial technologies.
Ability to work with complex codebases and end-to-end feature development.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Experience documenting workflows for technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience collaborating with remote or multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Provide expert analysis and feedback on GIS and geospatial challenges.
Document workflows using Python and AI coding agents.
Apply Codex, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and Claude Science to real-world tasks.
Evaluate AI-generated solutions, debug, and develop code.
Document problem-solving approaches and outcomes.
Contribute to datasets and evaluation frameworks for AI training.
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine documentation and requirements.
