Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking an experienced GIS/Geospatial Expert to evaluate real-world geospatial workflows and document technical outcomes. This contractor role centers on hands-on GIS, remote sensing, and spatial analytics, along with applying AI coding agents to practical tasks.

You will document workflows using Python, evaluate AI-generated solutions, and collaborate with remote teams to refine requirements and datasets for benchmarking AI systems.

Qualifications

• Experienced in GIS, remote sensing, or geospatial analytics.
• Hands-on use of AI coding agents for projects.
• Proficient in Python and geospatial tech.
• Experience with debugging and end-to-end feature development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to document workflows for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating with remote or multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert analysis on GIS and geospatial challenges.
• Document technical workflows using Python and AI coding agents.
• Apply Codex, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and Claude Science to tasks.
• Evaluate AI-generated solutions, debug, and develop code.
• Document problem-solving approaches and outcomes.
• Contribute to datasets and evaluation frameworks for AI training.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to refine requirements.
