Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking an experienced GIS/Geospatial Expert for remote contracting work. You will evaluate real-world geospatial workflows, apply Python and AI coding agents to tasks, and document results for AI system improvements.

Responsibilities include analyzing GIS challenges, debugging code, and contributing datasets and evaluation frameworks. Strong communication and ability to document workflows for technical and non-technical audiences are essential.

Qualifications

Strong experience in GIS, remote sensing, or related geospatial fields.
Hands-on experience with AI coding agents for geospatial projects.
Proficiency in Python and geospatial technologies.

Responsibilities

Provide expert analysis and feedback on GIS and geospatial challenges.
Document technical workflows using Python and AI coding agents.
Apply tools such as Codex, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and Claude Science to real-world technical tasks.
Evaluate AI-generated solutions for complex geospatial problems, debugging, and code development.
Document problem-solving approaches, workflows, and technical outcomes.
Contribute to datasets and evaluation frameworks for AI training and benchmarking.
Collaborate with technical stakeholders to refine documentation and project requirements.
