Job summary

YO AI Labs seeks a GIS / Geospatial Expert for remote contract work to apply GIS, remote sensing, and spatial analytics to real-world workflows and AI systems. You will document processes with Python and AI coding agents, evaluate AI-generated geospatial solutions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance next-generation AI capabilities.

Qualifications

Strong experience in GIS, remote sensing, spatial analytics, or related geospatial fields.
Hands-on experience using AI coding agents for geospatial projects.
Proficiency in Python and geospatial technologies.
Experience with debugging and end-to-end feature development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to document workflows for technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience collaborating with remote or multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Provide expert analysis and feedback on GIS and geospatial challenges.
Document technical workflows using Python and AI coding agents.
Apply tools such as Codex, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and Claude Science to real-world tasks.
Evaluate AI-generated solutions for complex geospatial problems, debugging, and code development.
Document problem-solving approaches, workflows, and technical outcomes.
Contribute to datasets and evaluation frameworks for AI training and benchmarking.
Collaborate with technical stakeholders to refine documentation and project requirements.
