Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a GIS and Geospatial AI Expert for a remote contractor role to contribute domain knowledge and evaluate AI-enabled geospatial solutions. You will document workflows, apply Python and geospatial tools, and critique AI-generated outputs in real-world contexts, with emphasis on visualization and analysis.

Strong written and verbal communication, plus the ability to work independently with stakeholders, are essential.

Qualifications

• GIS, remote sensing, spatial analytics and Python expertise.
• Experience using AI coding agents like Codex and Claude family to solve technical problems.
• Ability to document workflows clearly and evaluate AI-generated solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert analysis on GIS, geospatial data, and spatial analytics.
• Document advanced workflows and problem solving using AI coding agents.
• Describe real-world tasks where AI agents execute multi-step workflows.
• Document project context, tool selection, technical approach, and outcomes.
• Evaluate AI-generated solutions for complex geospatial challenges, including large codebases.
• Share real-world examples of handling ambiguity, scale, and data complexity with AI agents.
• Use Python and geospatial tools to support analysis and workflow development.
• Collaborate asynchronously with stakeholders to refine guidance materials.
