Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a GIS & Geospatial AI Expert on a contract basis to contribute technical expertise in geospatial data, remote sensing, and AI-assisted workflows. The role emphasizes documenting workflows and evaluating AI-generated solutions in real-world geospatial settings.

The ideal candidate will combine GIS and Python skills with hands-on use of AI coding agents such as Codex and Claude tools, and must be able to explain workflows clearly while working remotely with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Demonstrated GIS, remote sensing, spatial analytics experience.
Ability to document complex workflows for technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience applying AI agents to real-world GIS or geospatial projects.

Responsibilities

Provide expert analysis on GIS, geospatial data, and remote sensing.
Document advanced AI workflow approaches using Codex and Claude agents.
Describe real-world tasks where AI agents execute multi-step workflows.
Evaluate AI-generated solutions for large codebases, debugging, and automation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine evaluation criteria and guidance materials.
Contribute to high-fidelity datasets, evaluations, and benchmarks.
