Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a GIS & Geospatial AI Expert for a remote contractor role focused on advancing AI systems through geospatial analysis. You will apply GIS, remote sensing, and Python to real-world problems and document workflows and outcomes.

You will evaluate AI-generated solutions, navigate large codebases, develop end-to-end features, and collaborate with stakeholders to produce high-quality technical documentation and benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in GIS, remote sensing, and spatial analytics.
• Strong Python programming skills for geospatial workflows.
• Experience applying AI coding agents to real-world GIS/geospatial problems.
• Ability to document complex workflows for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert analysis and practical examples for GIS, geospatial data, and AI workflows.
• Document advanced technical workflows involving AI coding agents.
• Evaluate AI-generated solutions for large codebases, debugging, and feature development.
• Collaborate asynchronously with stakeholders to refine evaluation criteria.
• Contribute to high-fidelity datasets and benchmarks for AI training.
