Job summary

Cobec Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level GIS Developer to support FAA geospatial projects in Washington, DC.

You will build and configure ArcGIS Online applications, create automated ETL workflows, and contribute to data-driven aviation solutions. The role requires 4–6 years in GIS or related fields, with experience in ArcGIS Pro, Experience Builder/Dashboards, and PostgreSQL/PostGIS; a Bachelor's degree is required, Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Geospatial Science, Computer Science, Geography, Urban Development, Data Science, or similar.
• Master’s degree is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure ArcGIS Online applications, including Experience Builder, Dashboards, and Survey123
• Create and maintain automated data processing workflows and ETL routines using Python, SQL, or equivalent tools to move and prepare geospatial and tabular data from multiple sources
• Design and build ArcGIS Survey123 forms for field data collection and assist with integrating results into enterprise GIS solutions
• Design and implement relational database structures (e.g., PostgreSQL/PostGIS) to store and query spatial and non-spatial data
• Contribute to cross-functional teams by documenting technical processes, presenting analysis results, and collaborating with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliverables
