Job summary

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commissioning/field engineering, familiarity with ABB GIS (ZX Portfolio) and RMU (SafeRing/SafePlus), and knowledge of ABB Protection & Control platforms.
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of commissioning and field engineering experience.
- Proven experience with ABB GIS (ZX Portfolio) and RMU (SafeRing / SafePlus).
- Knowledge of ABB Protection & Control platforms (ZEE600, SSC600, PCM600).
- Willingness to travel 40–50%.
Responsibilities
- Lead commissioning of ABB GIS and RMU systems to ABB standards and relevant IEEE/IEC/ANSI requirements.
- Develop commissioning work plans, cost estimates, schedules, risk assessments, and MOPs.
- Support execution through energization and customer acceptance.
- Assist FAT/IFAT activities and interface with customers, EPCs, utilities, and ABB teams.
- Identify risks and lead mitigation actions; mentor junior engineers.
