Job summary

Stellar Virtual is seeking a Gifted & Talented Teacher to deliver specialized, differentiated instruction remotely to students across multiple state programs including Oregon, Washington, Iowa, Indiana, Missouri, and Tennessee. The role requires virtual/hybrid instruction experience, strong knowledge of gifted education, and collaboration with program staff and families.

You will plan rigorous learning experiences, assess progress with multiple data sources, and support curriculum development

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience, with gifted students preferred.
• Minimum of 30 hours of professional development in gifted/talented education preferred.
• Experience teaching in a virtual or hybrid learning environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of gifted education principles and instructional strategies.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for gifted learners.
• Ability to manage a digital task list and remote work setup.
• Experience with Google Workspace in professional/academic settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to gifted students via virtual teaching.
• Plan and facilitate rigorous, engaging learning experiences.
• Assess progress with multiple data sources
• Collaborate with staff to support gifted programs and identification processes
• Develop and refine curriculum and enrichment aligned with gifted education best practices
• Communicate with parents and staff about progress and needs
• Support enrichment activities and student showcases
• Provide professional development to teachers on gifted strategies
• Assist with planning and administration of assessments
• Maintain accurate student records per requirements
• Participate in ongoing professional development in gifted education
• Collaborate with the Program Supervisor to implement services
• Pivot to support emerging business needs as directed
