Job summary

Stellar Virtual seeks a certified Elementary Teacher to join our remote team. You will deliver engaging instruction for grades K-5 using our virtual platform, implement IEPs, and collaborate with parents and teachers to support student success.

Qualified candidates hold a Tennessee teaching license for Elementary Education and have experience with Google Workspace and online learning tools. Residency in Tennessee is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of successful teaching experience at the elementary level.
• Experience working independently with minimal supervision and managing a digital task list and remote infrastructure.
• Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive).
• Strong written communication skills and ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
• Access to a private, high-speed internet connection (25 Mbps down, 10 Mbps up).
• Experience using online learning platforms and elementary educational technology tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively in virtual settings and collaborate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-aligned instruction to K–5 students through a virtual platform.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in line with Tennessee regulations.
• Conduct virtual IEP meetings and collaborate with parents, students, teachers, and staff.
• Adapt curriculum and materials for diverse learners in a virtual setting.
• Administer formative and summative assessments and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with curriculum specialists to enhance the elementary program and resources.
• Participate in virtual professional development and staff meetings.
• Support student services teams to address student needs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
