Job summary

Stellar Virtual is seeking a Gifted & Talented Teacher to deliver specialized, differentiated instruction to gifted learners across multiple state programs via remote teaching.

You will design engaging experiences that foster intellectual, emotional, and social growth, collaborate with educators and administrators, and participate in screening and identification processes as required by state programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience, with 2 years in gifted and talented education preferred.
• Minimum of 30 hours of professional development in gifted/talented education preferred.
• Experience teaching in a virtual or hybrid learning environment.
• Strong knowledge of gifted education principles and identification practices.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for gifted learners.
• Experience working independently with minimal supervision in a remote setup.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive).
• Clear written communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized and differentiated instruction for gifted students via virtual teaching.
• Plan and facilitate rigorous, engaging learning experiences.
• Assess and monitor student progress using multiple data sources.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and program staff on identification and placement.
• Participate in screening, identification, and state program requirements.
• Support curriculum development and enrichment aligned with gifted education best practices.
