Job summary

Georgia Cyber Academy is seeking an Elementary Grades Band Gifted ELA/SS Teacher. The role is primarily remote, supporting K-2 gifted instruction with both synchronous and asynchronous learning.

You will collaborate with a range of teachers and administrators to deliver engaging, standards-aligned content. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Education and state certification, with strong communication, data sharing, and digital teaching skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education and two years of teaching experience in K-2 or equivalent.
• GA PSC Education Certificate and gifted certification preferred.
• Ability to implement TKES/LKES where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Refer students to support systems as needed.
• Maintain contact with Family Support Liaison for referrals.
• Provide data to content academic teachers as needed.
• Synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities for students.
• Create/update Canvas modules and teaching materials.
• Administer assessments and maintain documentation.
• Review data to adjust instruction and respond to feedback.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff.
