Job summary

Stellar Virtual seeks a certified Special Education Teacher to join our remote team serving grades 9–12 in Texas. You will develop and monitor IEPs, adapt materials for diverse learners, and collaborate with families and teachers to ensure academic and social-emotional success in a virtual setting.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, tech skills, and a commitment to inclusive online learning environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education.
• Texas Special Education teaching certification for 7-12 or 6-12.
• Texas Social Studies Composite certification for 7-12 is required.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in line with Texas regulations.
• Lead virtual IEP meetings with families and staff.
• Adapt curriculum and materials for diverse learners in a virtual setting.
• Provide direct and indirect specialized instruction to students with disabilities.
• Utilize online teaching tools and accommodations to support learning.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support accessible curriculum.
• Monitor progress toward IEP goals and report outcomes.
• Support remote testing events as needed.
