Job summary

Environ Energy is seeking a Sustainability Manager, Assurance to lead client-facing assurance services for GHG and ESG, translating strategy into executable workplans. You will oversee engagements from scoping to issuance, steward budget, schedule, risk, and client experience, and guide a team toward high-quality, evidence-based conclusions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sustainability, engineering, accounting, or related field.
• 4–7 years in sustainability, climate, ESG, GHG accounting, audit, verification, or assurance services.
• Experience leading projects or workstreams and delivering client-ready workpapers and reports.
• Knowledge of GHG Protocol and Scope 1/2/3 accounting and data controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead assurance engagements from discovery through closeout with focus on timeliness and quality.
• Develop engagement plans, budgets, and resource allocations; manage client expectations.
• Evaluate GHG emissions sources, data controls, and reporting boundaries across scopes.
• Review workpapers and deliverables for accuracy and clarity; sign assurance statements when authorized.
• Mentor and develop a team of professionals; foster independent, ethical delivery.
