Job summary

Welocalize, Inc. is seeking experienced English (en-US) to German (de-DE and/or de-CH) translators and copy editors for a long-term, remote freelance project with a leading multinational client. You will translate, copy-edit, and MTPE using a client-specific CAT tool, with ongoing feedback and revisions.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in German (de-DE and/or de-CH) with excellent command of English (en-US).
• 2+ years of professional translation experience with a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, or 5+ years without a degree.
• Experience translating English to German across informational, marketing, UI, product, and support content.
• Experience using CAT tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced localization environment.
• Strong communication, responsiveness, reliability, and openness to feedback and revisions.

Responsibilities

• Translate content from English to German (de-DE and/or de-CH) across marketing, UI, product, and support content.
• Copy-edit translations for accuracy, consistency, and style.
• Perform MTPE and quality checks as needed to meet client standards.
