Mercor is seeking a part-time remote reviewer to evaluate AI-narrated German audiobooks (Germany). You will listen to recordings, assess naturalness and accuracy, and log errors with precise timestamps.

The role requires native German fluency and good English, with regular feedback on how the narration sounds to listeners. We welcome candidates who regularly listen to audiobooks and can sustain careful attention across long sessions.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in German (Germany).
• Able to report in English clearly for the team.
• Experience with annotation, labeling, transcription, proofreading or linguistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Listen to AI-narrated audiobooks in German and assess naturalness, accuracy and enjoyment.
• Spot and log errors in synthesized speech (skipped words, mispronunciations, etc.).
• Categorize issues and mark exact spans using review tooling.
• Report on overall listener satisfaction and places where narration is natural or breaks.
• Work consistently and carefully across many hours of audio.
