This is a remote, part-time role with ~20 hours weekly, suitable for those living in German-speaking regions. The position emphasizes careful listening, detailed annotation, and consistent performance across long listening sessions.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in German (Germany) and an active audiobook listener.
• Experience with annotation, labeling, transcription, proofreading, linguistics, or other detail-oriented review work.
• Reliable availability of about 20 hours per week on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Listen to AI-narrated audiobooks in German and assess naturalness, accuracy, and enjoyment of narration.
• Spot and log errors in synthesized speech: skipped, added, mispronounced words, numbers spoken incorrectly, etc.
• Categorize issues and mark exact spans where they occur using review tools.
• Report on overall listener satisfaction and where narration feels natural vs where it breaks the experience.
• Maintain consistency and attention to detail across many hours of audio.
