Job summary

Sailor Health is a nationwide telehealth practice delivering compassionate mental healthcare to older adults from home. We match you with patients, handle admin, and offer strong clinical support and ongoing supervision.

We hire independently licensed therapists (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC or equivalent) on a fee-for-service basis with part-time or full-time options, start at 15 hours/week (1099) or 25 hours/week (W2).

Qualifications

• Active, independent clinical license: LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent
• Licensed in Illinois
• Master's or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy
• Experience working with older adults or geriatric populations preferred
• Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
• Medicare billing experience a plus — we handle it either way

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults in a virtual setting
• Design personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
• Work independently while being part of a collaborative, supportive care team
• Manage documentation efficiently using our streamlined EMR and AI documentation tools
• Participate in regular (paid) case consultations & clinical leadership meetings
