Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geotechnical, geological, or civil engineering with geotechnical emphasis.
• Approximately 3–7 years of post-graduate geotechnical/geological experience.
• Working knowledge of soil and rock mechanics and geotechnical design concepts.
• Experience supporting field investigations and engineering calculations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively while working remotely part of the time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field programs, including subcontractors, safety compliance, and data quality.
• Assist with subsurface exploration programs including drilling, logging, sampling, and instrumentation installation.
• Perform geotechnical analyses such as slope stability, foundation design, retaining walls, and earthwork evaluations.
• Support geohazard assessments including rockfall, landslide, and embankment evaluations under guidance.
• Prepare calculations, figures, tables, and draft sections of technical reports.
• Participate in project team meetings and collaborate with engineers, geologists, and other disciplines.
• Support construction-phase services such as observation and data review.
• Uphold safety, quality, and ethical practice.
