Job summary

cFocus Software seeks a Geospatial ISSO to support DHS programs. This remote role requires a Public Trust Clearance and hands-on experience with geospatial systems and federal security controls.

The candidate will interface with system owners, engineers, and DHS stakeholders to ensure proper authorization, continuous monitoring, and evidence retention across ESRI ArcGIS platforms and AWS environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of cybersecurity or information-assurance experience, incl ISSO for federal systems.
• Experience implementing and assessing NIST SP 800-53 controls and SSPs.
• Active CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CAP/CGRC, CASP+ or equivalent certification.
• Experience with DHS MD 4300A or comparable policy, NIST RMF, 800-37, 800-53, 800-137, FISMA, OMB A-130.

Responsibilities

• Advise the GII System Owner on cybersecurity requirements, risk, and authorization posture.
• Apply DHS policies and NIST requirements across the Systems Engineering Life Cycle.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including cloud teams, privacy personnel, assessors, and leadership.
• Maintain SSP and authorization artifacts reflecting current environment.
• Coordinate evidence collection for ESRI ArcGIS and AWS-hosted components.
• Lead ISCM activities including monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and reporting.
