Job summary

cFocus Software Incorporated seeks a Geospatial ISSO to join our program supporting the Department of Homeland Security. The position is remote and requires a Public Trust Clearance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geospatial security, RMF/AFI processing, and experience with NIST SP 800-53 controls, SSPs, and continuous-monitoring artifacts for federal systems. DHS policy knowledge and advanced certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s in IT, CS, Geography or related field.
• 6+ years in cybersecurity or information assurance with ISSO or RMF responsibilities for federal systems.
• Experience implementing NIST SP 800-53 controls and maintaining SSPs, POA&Ms, and continuous-monitoring artifacts.
• Experience with DHS/DHS policy, FISMA, NIST RMF, and continuous monitoring.
• Active advanced security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CAP).

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal advisor to Government System Owner on cybersecurity requirements, risk, and authorization posture.
• Coordinate with engineers, admins, cloud teams, privacy personnel, assessors, and leadership.
• Maintain SSPs and authorization artifacts across geospatial systems.
• Coordinate evidence collection for ESRI Portal, ArcGIS Online, and AWS-hosted components.
• Review, adjudicate findings from continuous monitoring and vulnerability management.
• Prepare artifacts supporting ATO/ATC activities and ISCM program.
