Job summary

National Power, LLC is seeking a Generator Service Technician to join their team. This role involves maintenance and repair of generator sets and electrical equipment, primarily in Southern, OH.

The ideal candidate will have an HS diploma, relevant experience, and excellent communication skills. This position requires working from home and may involve driving to various job sites, sometimes requiring overnight stays. Competitive compensation and benefits package inclusive.

Qualifications

• Must troubleshoot and repair generator sets and electrical equipment.
• Experience with Automatic Transfer Switches and load-bank testing.
• Driving long distances to job sites and overnight stays required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on generators and parallel systems.
• Conduct diesel or gaseous engine troubleshooting and repair.
• Assist technicians with large jobs and troubleshoot complicated issues.

Skills

Excellent communication skills

Computer skills (Microsoft software)

Ability to manage difficult customer situations

Education

HS Diploma

Associate degree in electrical/mechanical field

Current Generac Power Systems certification
