Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a General Manager for the WIC and Early Intervention portfolio to drive growth, oversee financial performance, and guide modernization efforts. You will align strategy with account, delivery, and technology leaders to win new business and ensure client satisfaction.

You will lead cross-functional teams through proposal development, pricing, and contract negotiations, while managing strategic partnerships and vendor relationships in a highly regulated

Qualifications

• Direct WIC or EI program experience required.
• Experience with both WIC and EI preferred.
• Led competitive pursuits with cross‑functional teams on proposals and pricing.
• Leadership in healthcare programs or technology with public‑sector procurement knowledge.
• Experience managing financial performance, forecasts, and risk.
• Ability to align product, delivery, account, finance, and partners.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience guiding modernization in government health and human services.
• Experience managing strategic partners and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Growth and pursuit leadership: Build a qualified pipeline and lead WIC and EI pursuits through every phase.
• Market intelligence: Monitor policy, procurement activity, competitors, and trends to guide strategy.
• Financial management: Own portfolio financial performance, forecasting, and reporting.
• Account and contract leadership: Oversee obligations, renewals, and service commitments.
• Delivery alignment and client commitments: Coordinate delivery plans and risks across teams.
• Client and executive relationships: Build executive relationships to support renewals and growth.
• Product, modernization, and partner strategy: Set direction and manage partners and vendors.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business/healthcare administration/public administration/technology
