Sedgwick is seeking a Remote Liability Claims Examiner with extensive General Liability experience to adjudicate high-exposure claims, develop defense strategies, and work with clients and legal counsel across a broad range of industries. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Five (5) years of general liability claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews or acts on reports and inquiries; seeks legal opinion and early resolution and communicates outcomes.
• Handles high end cases with serious injuries and/or complex coverage scenarios.
• Responds to decisions, agreements or court orders; creates action plans and determines need for examinations.
• Identifies cases suitable for settlements and subrogation opportunities.
• Gathers information and coordinates with client designees and local counsel; monitors performance.
• Attends mediations, trials, arbitrations or hearings as needed.
