Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Remote Liability Claims Examiner to manage high-exposure General Liability claims for major clients. The role focuses on developing strategies, negotiating settlements, and coordinating with clients and legal counsel in a dynamic, client-centric environment.

The ideal candidate will have substantial General Liability claims management experience, a strong understanding of complex coverage scenarios, and the ability to drive claims toward timely resolutions while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Five (5) years of General liability claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews/acts on reports and forms; responds to inquiries; seeks legal opinion and early resolution; communicates resolution to parties.
• Handles high end cases with serious injuries and/or complex coverage scenarios.
• Responds to decisions, agreements, and court orders; creates action plan; determines need for examination; gains client authorization.
• Identifies cases for settlements/redemptions.
• Gathers/additional information and coordinates with client designees.
• Requests private investigations; coordinates with local counsel and monitors performance.
