Specialty Insurance Company seeks a mid-level General Liability Claims Adjuster to triage, investigate, evaluate and resolve a large existing inventory of about 150 claims. This remote role emphasizes ownership, proactive follow-up, and phone-based communication with insureds and attorneys.

You will focus on slip-and-fall and premises liability exposures, navigate an internet-based claims system, and aim to close files rather than just manage them.

Qualifications

• Mid-level General Liability claims experience with independent inventory management.
• Strong investigative, analytical and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent verbal communication by phone with multiple parties.
• Comfortable handling claims with proactive follow-up and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Triage and review an existing inventory of approximately 150 General Liability claims.
• Investigate claims with limited prior handling and gather necessary documentation.
• Handle slip-and-fall and premises liability exposures to closure.
• Review files, coverage, liability, damages and support; communicate with insureds, claimants, attorneys and vendors.
• Move files toward resolution, make recommendations, and document progress.
