Job summary

Reserv is seeking a highly organized General Liability Adjuster to join our remote team. You will handle a broad range of claims, educate customers, triage and resolve complex cases with empathy and urgency.

The ideal candidate holds an active adjuster license, 3–5 years of General Liability experience, and is willing to travel for client needs. This remote-first role offers comprehensive benefits and collaboration across our distributed team.

Qualifications

• Active adjuster license required: resident state license if available, otherwise a DHS license.
• Bachelor's degree. JD, professional insurance designations preferred.
• Willing to obtain all licenses within 60 days, including state testing.
• Knowledge of state regulations, policy provisions, and procedures.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate complex data and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of General Liability claims, including Slip and Falls, Habitational, Risk Transfer, Construction, and more.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and high-quality customer service to policyholders and claimants.
• Gather information from customers to initiate claims and explain policy coverage.
• Manage an inventory of claims and identify potential coverage issues.
• Establish initial reserves and adjust as needed during the claim process.
• Communicate with involved parties and negotiate settlements within authority.
