Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of related experience including personal lines claims, evaluating coverage and drafting letters; experience with commercial lines and multi-state litigation preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; state mandated adjusting licenses as required; insurance designations such as CPCU, AIC, ARM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handles complex claims on automobile, homeowner, and excess liability policies.
• Develops exposures and evaluates injury claims based on damages, contract, policies, and state laws.
• Investigates and evaluates coverage, liability and damages in complex claims; manages discovery and settlement planning.
• Maintains proper reserves on all pending claims.
• Travel as required; follows up with counsel and oversees defense in litigation.
