Job summary

TechNET is seeking a hands-on GCP Platform Administrator for a 6+ months contract. You will drive provisioning, configuring, and managing new infrastructure in Google Cloud, working 100% remotely and aligning with enterprise best practices.

Responsibilities include end-to-end setup, managing Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPCs and Load Balancers, implementing IAM security, IaC with Terraform, and monitoring. Strong independent work and EST-hours availability are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on GCP administration in production environments.
• Experience provisioning new components within production GCP.
• Strong security governance and compliance knowledge.
• Remote work capable in EST hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end setup, configuration, and deployment of new GCP components.
• Manage Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPCs, and Load Balancers.
• Configure IAM policies with least-privilege access for new rollouts.
• Use Terraform to automate provisioning and scaling of GCP environments.
• Set up secure networking and firewall rules for new tools.
• Implement monitoring and alerting for new services.
