HellaGoodAudio is seeking a creative UI/UX Artist to shape the user interface for upcoming game titles. Based in Malta or remote, you will prototype workflows, design UI styles, and produce final UI elements that align with the game’s visual language.

You will collaborate with the Art Director and Lead Artist, mentor junior artists, and coordinate outsourced assets to ensure consistent quality across features and marketing materials.

Qualifications

• 2 years of professional experience as a game UI Artist.
• Proficient with Illustrator and/or Photoshop and standard tools of the trade.
• Detailed understanding of UI flow, typography, iconography, graphic and motion design.
• Love collaborating and working in a team; receptive to direction and change.
• Enjoy playing and creating games and thinking about elevating them.

Responsabilités

• Prototype Interaction Workflows with the Game Design team to test layout and basis for functionality.
• Collaborate with Art Director and Lead Artist to design UI styles for new game titles.
• Create final UI elements under game guidelines and style.
• Document UI details and create Mockups to assist asset implementation.
• Identify and solve complex UI and user feedback challenges.
• Work with in-Engine tools to help programmers set up the UI and polish it.
• Create Marketing assets to promote a game.
• Mentor less experienced 2D/UI Artists to help them evolve their skills.
• Help manage and coordinate potential Outsource work.
