Job summary

Sales Xceleration Recruiting is seeking a Fundraising Sales Consultant to grow our nonprofit funding network across the Western U.S. This remote role combines relationship-building with strategic prospecting, events, and partnerships to drive new business.

You will own your territory, network with nonprofit leaders and event planners, and deliver compelling proposals to close deals. Expect travel around 10% and a strong focus on high-touch, trust-based sales.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of sales or business development experience.
• Natural relationship-builder who enjoys meeting new people.
• Able to hunt for new business and create opportunities from scratch.
• Skilled at networking and developing referral relationships.
• Confident prospecting via LinkedIn, referrals, events and outbound outreach.
• Motivated by revenue goals with a track record of delivering results.
• Engaging and polished in presenting to clients and partners.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage your own territory.
• Organized, responsive and reliable; comfortable remote work and travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop new nonprofit, charity and fundraising-event opportunities within your territory.
• Build relationships with nonprofit leaders, event planners, venues and partners.
• Generate opportunities through networking, referrals, LinkedIn, and outbound outreach.
• Turn relationships and referrals into qualified opportunities and clients.
• Respond quickly to inbound inquiries and company-provided leads.
• Create and execute a territory growth strategy.
• Deliver engaging presentations and proposals to prospects.
• Lead opportunities through negotiation and close.
• Act as a trusted resource for nonprofits to maximize fundraising results.
• Attend select fundraising events and provide onsite support when needed.
• Use events to meet people, build relationships and create future business.
