Job summary

The Curtis Group is seeking an Associate Consultant to join our growing team. This remote position with periodic travel to client sites offers a path to build fundraising consulting skills while supporting campaigns, assessments and studies for nonprofit clients.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in fundraising/development or nonprofit consulting, strong writing and presentation abilities, and be comfortable collaborating with leadership and clients to deliver high-quality materials and

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of fundraising/development or nonprofit consulting experience.
• BS/BA degree required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements with high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day project manager for multiple client engagements.
• Draft, edit and synthesize client-facing materials (case statements, studies, presentations).
• Analyze interviews, surveys and research to inform client strategy.
• Conduct prospect research to support client strategy.
• Develop trusted client partnerships and coordinate meetings.
• Prepare for and participate in client study, assessment and campaign meetings.
• Represent the firm at industry events and in regional philanthropic communities.
