Job summary

Slice Out Hunger is seeking a mid-level development professional to lead major gifts fundraising and donor relations.

You will build and manage a fundraising portfolio from corporate donors and family foundations, track prospects in Monday and Bloomerang, and report to the Director of Operations. The role offers remote US work with travel 10-15%, a start date in September, and a path to broaden into programmatic fundraising or team leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in nonprofit development or partnerships.
• Experience building major gifts pipelines.
• Ability to travel 10-15%.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and manage a major gifts pipeline to grow operational capacity.
• Build and maintain donor relationships to meet fundraising goals.
• Track prospects in our project management platform (Monday) and donor records in our DRM (Bloomerang).
• Collaborate with the social media manager on fundraising communications.
• Travel 10-15% for donor engagement and in-person events.
