Job summary

The Avalon Consulting Group, LLC is seeking an Account Director to lead integrated fundraising programs across direct mail, digital, and other channels for mission-driven nonprofits. The role focuses on strategy, execution, and ensuring campaigns are grounded in data-informed decisions.

You will guide client strategy, mentor teams, manage budgets, and leverage insights to optimize campaigns for environmental conservation, social justice, and cultural arts causes.

Qualifications

• Five (5)+ years of direct response fundraising experience, ideally with nonprofits or agencies.
• Strong client management and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing budgets, timelines, and campaign performance.
• Ability to lead projects and guide cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including client presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end fundraising strategy and execution for omnichannel direct response programs.
• Collaborate with writers, designers, analysts, and program managers to develop high-performing campaigns across channels.
• Monitor performance, manage budgets, and propose adjustments to maximize results.
