Job summary

Fund Services Group is seeking a Fund Accounting Senior Associate to deliver white-glove service to private funds and their investors. You will review accounting, investor reporting, audits, and tax deliverables, ensuring data accuracy in CRM and portals.

You will coordinate transactions, prepare regulatory reports, and assist in training new team members. This role is primarily remote with occasional on-site training or client site support.

Qualifications

• Experience (3-6 years) with private equity or private fund accounting
• Developing understanding of GAAP and basic understanding of tax concepts specific to private funds
• Familiarity with key concepts such as fee calculations, capital activities, and operational best practices
• Be a team player with an enthusiastic work ethic
• Learn all we teach you quickly, comprehensively, and enthusiastically
• Be exceptional in your organizational and written communication skills
• Have exacting attention to detail
• Be exemplary in prioritization and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Reviewing the accounting, investor reporting, audit, and tax deliverables for private funds
• Reviewing and verifying fund accounting data in the CRM and Investor Portals
• Coordinating investment and operating transactions for private funds
• Compiling accounting and investment data for regulatory reports such as 13-F and Form ADV
• Preparing subscription and investment documentation for private funds
• Assisting in training and developing new team members during onboarding
