Qualifications

• A degree in accounting/finance/economics or related field.
• Basic understanding of GAAP is a plus, but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Willingness to learn fund concepts and related software.

Responsibilities

• Record basic accounting entries and learn cash and accrual activity.
• Track investment activity and help prepare performance reports.
• Reconcile cash balances and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare schedules for management fees, allocations and fund-related calculations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, investor notices, and tax schedules.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax teams and third-party providers.
• Support onboarding and ongoing learning for future hires.
